W2 Media Mornings: Mon, Sept 3

On this Labour Day special edition of W2 Media Mornings, we’ll be looking at what it means to be a worker today, and the role of organized labour.

  • Hosted by Jane Bouey
  • Interview with Ian Cunliffe, a North Vancouver teacher who ran 22 marathons over the summer to raise awareness about the dangers of the Provincial Education Bill 22, and the underfunding of education.
  • We’ll also listen to the voices of Tommy Douglas (founder of the New Democratic Party and ‘father of Medicare’), Jim Sinclair (President, BC Federation of Labour), and some great working class music.
