Introduction:  For one of our holiday wrap-up programs we want to share some of our favourite journalistic and storytelling podcasts from around the world and around Coast Salish lands.

#1 – Intercepted with Jeremy Scahill.

After NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden came forward with revelations of mass surveillance in 2013, journalists Glenn Greenwald, Laura Poitras, and Jeremy Scahill decided to found a new media organization dedicated to the kind of reporting those disclosures required: fearless, adversarial journalism. They called it The Intercept. Their podcast series is called Intercepted. In this episode ‘Full Metal Jackass‘ former Nixon Lawyer John Dean and Daniel Ellsberg Analyze the Trump Moment.
